Tallula's is situated in New Brighton on the Wirral and, since it's opening in May 2007, has become integral to the social fabric of the New Brighton area. Marion Thompson, the owner of Tallula's, wanted to open a bar in which everyone could feel welcome and be able to relax in a slightly differently themed establishment. The burlesque decor present in Tallula's provides this different theme and is so unusual that many television producers have considered its use as a set, with the bar actually featuring in the programme "Strippers Indeed" in 2007.

Tallula's is known throughout the local area as a place where anyone can come, feel safe, and enjoy top-drawer live music from a range of fantastic musicians.

At Easter 2009 Marion opened Tallula's Late Lounge, a place where the entertainment can continue into the wee small hours!
